The Connecticut Art Directors’ Club celebrated their 40th anniversary this year, and tapped us to design the theme and marketing campaign for the show. In the tradition of their playful creative concepts over the years, we created a concept that celebrated creativity while nodding to the 40 year history of the club. “The Cult of Creativity” narrative evokes 1950s pulp science fiction, and uses a paranormal “time capsule” as a storytelling device to celebrate the CADC’s rich history of design excellence.
